Online Discussions
Each student will take part in weekly online discussions about the ideas covered
during class. There will be at least 15 posted discussion topics. Participation
in each topic will be awarded up to 2 points.

Assigned Readings
To see the reading assignment for the day, go to the Schedule page and then to the appropriate week. All assigned readings come from your textbook.
A reading assignment is made from the textbook for just about every class meeting. You are expected to complete the reading BEFORE you come to class.
Tests
Three tests will be given. Tests cannot be made up if missed. Each test covers only the material since the last test -- thus each test covers roughly one-third of the course material. Material from the assigned readings and the in-class presentations will be included on the tests.
