The advice is grouped under these headings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Build a solid foundation<\/li><li>Beat the hype<\/li><li>Complicate the narrative<\/li><li>Be compassionate, but embrace critical thinking<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.karendhao.com\/#about\" target=\"_blank\">Karen Hao<\/a>, senior AI editor at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.technologyreview.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">MIT Technology Review<\/a> \u2014 whose articles I read all the time! \u2014 points out that to really educate yourself about AI, you&#8217;re going to need to read some of the research papers in the field. She also recommends YouTube as a resource for learning about AI \u2014 and I have to agree.
