This course is taught at the University of Florida in the College of Journalism and Communications. It is open to master's and Ph.D. candidates enrolled in any college at this university. There are no prerequisites. You will find it listed under Mass Communication with the course number MMC 6612 (it used to be MMC 6441).

This course includes elements of political communication and political science, but it also has a distinct focus on the role that the Internet and other communication technologies (e.g., social networks, mobile phones, satellite TV) might play in a participatory democracy.
